Brief little history about Gwinnett County.
From wikipedia:
Gwinnett County was created on December 15, 1818, and named for Button Gwinnett, one of the three Georgia signers of the Declaration of Independence. The county was formed from the combination of land that was ceded to the state of Georgia by the Cherokee and Creek Indians and a portion of Jackson County.
Slow Pour Brewing Company opened their doors in September of 2017. This was the first brewery I visited in downtown Lawrenceville,GA.
If you love IPAs, this is the place for you! My favorites are Southernality and Nostalgia. The vibe of the brewery is very laid back and cool.
They have a ton of games that you can play, and they also have live music! Slow Pour is definitely the happening spot for the weekend.
Ironshield Brewing just recently opened their doors for business in July 2020. This brewery, which specializes in European style ales and lagers, has a 40-foot serving bar and offer multiple viewing areas of the brewhouse along with covered outdoor seating and a Biergarten.
Their beers are very tasteful and deliciously refreshing. My favorites are Karneval and 7 Sisters! For food and entertainment, they have different food vendors and live music on the weekends. Ironshield Brewing is definitely worth visiting and buying a six pack to go!
